“I am glad I found dancing”
Nice to dart in between others on the floor when a gap is available.
A Jive fusion example at the end.
Difficulty level :
Briefly in basket - take shoulders and ladies open your arms wide when pushed forward.
Ladies, make sure you leave your hand out for the leader to catch - else you may collide with another dancer.
Difficulty level :
From standing start or catapult and stall.
Difficulty level :
A clear demonstration that if you learn true tension in your arms it works wonders. In this case a little too well.
Difficulty level :
Ultra easy but nice to do from time to time. Follower need not know the steps beforehand - just copy along.
Difficulty level :
Slow-mo shown of the tricky bit.
Difficulty level :
A nice addition to the tunnel. See Tunnel for basic elements. Catapult to face, tunnel thrice, turn behind.
Wait for the lady to unravel behind you.
Difficulty level :
Gentle tug down and outwards a little invites wrap in.
Difficulty level :
Beginner move
Right handed and left handed
Difficulty level :
Basic demo here - you can jazz up when you have it nailed.
Difficulty level :
Simple spin from yo-yo
Difficulty level :
Smooth variant of the standard yo-yo
Difficulty level :
Zen dancing - no rules as such. Cooling down for a few minutes. Try one of you moving left hand, the other the right hand.
This has often been magical and unforgettable.
Difficulty level :
Simple Dip. One can dip lower than shown - if you really must.
Difficulty level :
Simple Dip - but get positioning right.
Difficulty level :
Simple addition to the Hallelujah.
You can't see behind you - don't over lean.
Difficulty level :
Intro idea - work in progress for the start of Badlands. Note: This looks straightforward, it is straightforward, but the potential to topple is very great. A small lean creates a huge pull. (At that small angle I need to pull around 1/3rd of her body weight) If the angle increases another 10 degrees it exceeds half her body weight.
Find something to hold on to, a handle of some sort and lean yourself to get an idea before you attempt this kind of move. You will quickly gauge the extent of the forces involved.
Difficulty level :
Naff compared with the triangle. This still requires some care and careful execution else you could tip.
Difficulty level :
Can be used mid dance or at the end. Make sure you put your leg out - else a tumble will ensue.
Difficulty level :
Easier option than the fall forward.
Takes a little co-ordination.
Difficulty level :
Simple lift - fairly stable.
Difficulty level :
Forget about the naff lean with knees touching, this is the real thing. Me and Megan spent an age devising a balance like this with just one leg but were bedevilled by torsion issues. So, we plumped for this. Outside in light rain it was stunning looking up.
This is highly dangerous on a dance floor. It might look easy, but one slight error will land you in A&E.
Difficulty level :
Great dance floor at the rear of the pub.
We have a jolly fine sound system.
Find us on the main A465 nr Bromyard.
